E-Class Mark III printers accept media up to 4.4" wide on rolls up to 5" in diameter with a 1" core — which means both our standard 4" OD and larger 5" OD roll configurations fit.

About Ecotherm Labels for Datamax Printers

Our direct thermal labels are manufactured to standard thermal printer specifications — coated thermal paper, permanent hot melt adhesive, perforated for easy separation, and wound on standard 1" cores. They work seamlessly with the E-Class Mark III's media sensing and are compatible with DPL as well as the printer's ZPL and EPL emulation modes out of the box.

We do not sell ribbons or thermal transfer labels. All Ecotherm products are direct thermal — no ribbon required, ideal for shipping labels, barcodes, and short-to-medium-term labeling applications (typically 6-12 months of image life under normal storage conditions).

Datamax Industrial & Specialty Printers

Datamax W-Class industrial printers (W-6208, W-6308, W-8306) load media on 1.5"–3" cores, so our standard 1" core rolls don't fit. These are not part of our standard online catalog, but we can source 3" core labels on a per-order basis. Contact us with your printer model, label size, and order quantity for a custom quote.

The Datamax MP Compact 4 series uses a 40mm minimum core that our standard rolls do not fit — Ecotherm labels are not compatible with these printers.
