- Yes — 3" x 3" on 1" cores fits most desktop thermal printers that accept narrower-than-4-inch labels — Zebra ZD220, ZD410, ZD420, GK420d, GX420d, GC420d, LP2824, TLP2824, Datamax E-Class, TSC TDP-225, TTP-225, Sato CG408, GoDex, Brother, and Rollo. Adjust label width, label length, and gap sensing settings to match the square dimensions if your printer was previously configured for a different size.
- Will these adhere well to glass, plastic, and cardboard packaging?
- Yes. The permanent hotmelt adhesive bonds well to cardboard, hard plastics (PET, HDPE, polypropylene), glass, and metal surfaces. The labels are not rated for use on PVC surfaces or for application below 50°F (10°C). For rounded containers under 1" / 25mm diameter, adhesion may be affected by curvature.
- Do I need a ribbon?
- No. These are direct thermal labels — the printer's thermal head creates the image directly on the heat-sensitive label. Ribbons are only needed for thermal transfer printers.
